Vintage U 450 chest of drawers by Jiri Jiroutek for Interier Praha, Czechoslovakia 1960s

Iconic chest of drawers produced as a U450 Model by Interier Praha in 1960s. Designed by Jiri Jiroutek. Original label still attached on the back. The chest has been fully restored. The top board and wooden frame is in a blonde shade of oak wood. and was restored and refinished with new finish. The chest contains 8 drawers, 4 on each side. The fronts of the drawers are finished in combination of black and gray color which is a very elegant, iconic combination. The drawers are made of strong plastic, a new material in 1960s and Jiroutek loved using it to make the chests lighter in weaight. Beautiful piece, ready to shine! Reference : 236170
