About this vintage design furniture

A beautiful sewing box / side table, designed by Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by Andreas Tuk in Denmark around 1950. The piece is made of high quality oak wood, made with an impressive eye for detail and quality. It has a nice, light warm brown color. Underneath the top are a drawer unit with storage capacity for small items and a wicker basket for wool and fabrics that smoothly slides out. This piece is not only a nice modern touch to the decor, but also a very functional storage unit! The drop leaves allow a versatile use and extend the table from 66.5 to 119 cm in length. It is stamped with the designer, manufacturer and Danish quality control stamp, as shown in photos. This eye-catching piece remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 236067
