A rare table lamp executed in brass. Sweden, c1950s. By Pierre Forssell for Skultana, made in his own workshop 'Massingstudion'. Marked SKULTANA 1807 F4. Age and wear commensurate with age, a small dent in the bottom. Since reconnected and PAT tested. Location: London Gallery.Dimensions: 40 H x 9 Diameter in cm.Delivery: POWe can ship worldwide. About the designer
Pierre FORSELL
Pierre Forsell was a Swedish industrial designer born in 1925 and died in 2004. He studied at the Stockholm School of Arts and Crafts and began his career as a designer with Bobergs, a Swedish interior design company. In 1955, he joined the renowned Swedish design company Skultuna Messingsbruk AB as Art Director, where he worked for almost 25 years.
