About this brand new furniture

A console of minimalist, structural, and timeless aspects - typical of the refined work of the architect Carlo Scarpa. Designed and made in the 70s, most likely by the prestigious high-end Italian brand Cattelan Italia. The table consists of a very heavy (over 70kg each ) double forest green marble base with a rectangular clear glass top (to be customized if desired). A beautiful natural marble pattern adds grandeur and vivacity to any interior. Thick glass top in excellent original condition, no breakage or cracks. The base with just a few slight traces of use without importance due to the passage of time. Dimensions of glass top: H: 1W: 170 D: 33 cm Dimensions of the marble base: H:71W: 30D: 26 cm very heavy: 70-80 kg each Ground clearance: 71 cm

Carlo SCARPA

Carlo Scarpa was an Italian architect and designer, born on June 2, 1906 in Venice and died on November 28, 1978 in Sendai, Japan. He studied architecture at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a designer for the Venini artistic glassworks.
