About this vintage design furniture

Horace Vernet, after. Orientalist style engraving representing a scene with Bedouins in traditional clothes, with their walking sticks. They stand in the shade of palm trees with their finely engraved leaves, two of them sitting on the right, counting coins, another making a whispering sign to the central figure, another straddling a low wall and a tree trunk. In the foreground, on the ground, we see a knife, a dead animal, a jar and a bag of stale food. In the background is a Tartar tent and people walking in a group in the desert, with a mountain range on the horizon. The whole presents contrasts of lights, black and white. Gilded stucco frame decorated with leaves and small scrolls. Glass in bubbled glass. French work made circa 1830. Dimensions : H 82 x W 71 x D 5 cm Reference : LS5159281A
