About this vintage design furniture
Charles Rennie Mackintosh, one of the most important protagonists of the Arts and Craft Movement, designed this chair in 1902. In this design, Mackintosh was strongly influenced by the clear and straightforward formal language of Japanese aesthetics. The artist succeeded in creating a truly unique piece of period furniture. Labelled on the underside. Serial number 9927. Incl. certificate. Good condition. Some wear on the front edges of the seat.
