About this vintage design furniture
The cult Kina lamp, designed by Bent Karlby in 1946, produced by Lyf. It is one of the most appreciated Danish lighting projects. The lamp is made of opal glass and teak wood. Very good condition. Dimensions: height: 30cm diameter: 23cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 2 meter long braided cable. Additionally, the headlining is attached to the lamp. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.

About the designer
Bent KARLBY
Bent Karlby (1912-1998) was a Danish designer renowned for his contributions to the lighting industry. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he developed his minimalist, functional style.
