Reclining easy chair Grand Repos, leather, steel, France, design 1930, manufactured by Tecta 1980’s. Stylish, modern, sleek and extremely comfortable lounge chair. Of this rare chair designed by Jean Prouvé, only 100 pieces were initially produced. Later on, in the 1980’s this chair went into reproduction by Tecta. It’s made out of metal with leather seating and arm and headrest. This iconic design has an unique adjustable lounge system. The perfect chair for the Sunday afternoon siësta. Measurements : W.64 x D.109 x H.87 cm Seating height : 40 cm. - W.25.20 x42.91 x H.34.25 inches. Seating height : 15.75 inches

About the designer
Jean PROUVE
1901 - 1984Jean Prouvé (1901-1984) was a French designer and builder. Born in Nancy, he began working in his father's iron workshop before studying art and design at the École de Nancy. In the 1920s, he began designing metal furniture and founded his own company, Ateliers Jean Prouvé, in 1923.
