Brutalist pendant lamp, design Svend Aage Holm Sorensen for Thea Metal, Denmark 1960s with rough edges and unfinished brass surface. This lamp, which has all the typical characteristics of Aage Holm Sorensen, gives a very nice indirect light and attracts the eye. Thea Metal model nr. P306

About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
