Pair of vintage "Heron" table lamps with nylon and aluminum bodies by Isao Hosoe for Luxo, Norway 1990

Set of "Heron" adjustable desk lamps, designed by Isao Hosoe for Luxo, Norway, in 1994. Isao Hosoe has designed several lamps resembling birds. However, the heron lamp is the most successful design and at the same time a very functional work lamp. The heron contains a mechanism that always keeps its head (the cap) parallel to the surface of the desk. These lamps are still in very good working condition. The glass cap of one of the lamps is missing (under the head, see last picture). This does not affect the functioning of the lamp.
