About this vintage design furniture
Danish Modern rocking chair designed by Søren Georg Jensen for Tønder Møbelvaerk, Denmark. This model 97 chair was part of the Kubis collection the company launched in 1958. A novel design element, much like a sailboat, this chair has ballast under the front seat to create a very balanced and smooth movement to the rocking action.
