Folding rocking chair designed by takeshi nii, Japan circa 1950.tubular frame (aluminum) covered with skai, wooden spar, bucket seat, brown bakelite armrests (hard plastic)Very comfortable and very stable in good condition.Note some missing stitching on the seat without real consequence.Original edition, no copy.Dimensions: w: 90 cm, h: 88 cm, d: 59 cm.

About the designer
Takeshi NII
Takeshi Nii was a Japanese industrial designer who was born in 1914 and died in 2005. He is best known for his work on innovative seating designs, in particular for his "NY" folding chair.
