About this vintage design furniture

The company Rohé established itself in 1919 in Noordwolde in the Netherlands. Rohé is best known for the popularity of rattan furniture after the Second World War. The designs from that period were also made in our own factory at that time. In addition to a rattan department, Rohé developed a department for cradles and a department for wooden furniture over the years. In the eighties and nineties of the last century, under the leadership of Cees Sistermans, Rohé came up with special collections with designs by Jan des Bouvrie, Gerard van der Berg and Roderick Vos. Also this DES2021 luxury lounge armchair by Gerard van den Berg. Beautiful combination of a stainless steel frame with a rattan shell and which is given extra comfort by the leather pillow with the neck roll. Beautiful timeless design by van den Berg. This chair is in good condition appropriate to age and use, the frame, rattan are very good, the leather of the cushions has a beautiful patina.
