About this vintage design furniture
The EA aluminum chair is one of the strongest furniture designs of the twentieth century. Charles and Ray Eames designed and developed this chair in 1958 for the private home of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA). For the construction, Charles and Ray abandoned the idea of the seat shell and spanned a fabric or leather panel between two aluminum profiles, creating a firm yet flexible seat. The chair adapts to the body and is extremely comfortable, even without inner upholstery. This design is still for sale in the market This set has netwaeve upholstery. The chrome has some nice patina and in general the set is in good condition consistent with age and use. Worldwide shipping
