About this vintage design furniture
Table and 6 chairs set - Marc Held Model made for the cafeteria of the IBM headquarters in Montpelliers, allowing to fix the chairs to the table during the cleaning Edition Bessière. Only 60 tables and 300 chairs will be produced by the Bessière joinery. 1983 Table : Satin white melamine veneer top, beech wood headband with six openings designed to receive the chairs in suspension, beech wood base, black lacquered steel base with curved round section. Metal crosspiece. Chairs: Backs and seats in thermo-molded laminate, spruce and maple veneer forming scrolls, glued laminated beech base of compass shape connected to two cylindrical wooden crosspieces, half metal ring for insertion in the table. Table : W208xH72xD78 Chair : H74 x W44.5 x D42.5 cm (Seats at 44 cm)
