About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful oak half moon desk fully sheathed in parchment dating from the early 1940s. The desk features two pedestals with four drawers on each side, two locked, all original and functional. It also has a center drawer, and two shelves fully covered in parchment. All handles and two keys are silvered bronze. This is a documented desk, with a prestigious provenance, typical of Jacques Adnet's pre-war parchment work, in superb condition. Presented with a sycamore veneer desk chair by Baptistin Spade with straight back resting on saber feet at the back and tapered feet at the front, covered with brown velvet.
