Rare pair of floor lamps by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen with an elegant teak base, which supports the lanterns. Noble materials such as teak, brass and a black lacquered metal fork base. Made by Holm-Sørensen and Co. in the 1950s. Price for the pair In good vintage condition, the lamps work. With minor signs of age, but ready to be used. About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
