About this vintage design furniture

The armchair was made in the 1960s, designed by the leading Swedish designer Folke Ohlsson. Produced by the DUX manufacture. Model Duxello. The structure is made of beech wood. Wood after refreshing. The armchair has undergone upholstery renovation, the fabric has been exchanged for a new one. For the renovation a very high quality fabric with boucle yarn was used. The fabric has a high abrasion resistance - 50 000 Martindale cycles. Whereas the easy-cleaning technology will guarantee comfort of use and a clean and attractive piece of furniture for years. The armchair looks great in a set with a sofa available in our range. Condition: Fabric replaced with a new one, wooden structure preserved in good condition with normal signs of use. Minor scratches and marks are visible. Larger signs of use are always shown in the photos. Product ready to use. Folke OHLSSON

Folke Ohlsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1919 and died in 2002. He is best known for his work in furniture design, in particular for his contribution to the rise of Scandinavian design in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s.
