Vintage Danish teak armchairs by Svend Aage Eriksen for Glostrup Møbelfabrik 1960s set of 4.Beautiful mid-century modern Danish design. Model GM 11 in solid teak and original black leather upholstery. Tapered round legs and sculpted armrests. Wide curved backrest for optimal back support. This chair is also often attributed to Erik Kirkegaard.good original condition. Only a few small nicks and dings. Cleaned, oiled and polished. Ready to be used.

About the designer
Svend Aage ERIKSEN
Svend Aage Eriksen (1918-2002) was a renowned Danish designer, known for his innovative and functional work in furniture and lighting. Born in Copenhagen, he studied at the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts and worked for various design companies before opening his own studio in 1954.
