About this vintage design furniture
A lovely floor lamp designed by Bent Karlby and manufactured by A. Schroder Kemi – Ask Belysninger in Denmark around 1970. The lamp rests on a black foot with a tubular chrome plated arm. It holds two brown with white perspex spots that can be changed in direction for different situation When lit, they emit a nice light that can easily be directed. The combination of materials, shape and colour creates a very typical mid-century style to this Scandinavian piece. It would make a great addition to the decor This modern lamp remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
