About this vintage design furniture

Three-bay teak wall unit designed by Preben Sorensen in Denmark in the 1960s. This entirely modular shelving system is ideal for a home office, as the compact desk will allow you to work even in the living room. Each component is 80cm wide and can be arranged at ones will. The set consists of: 7 shelves 20cm deep 1 display shelf 33cm deep 1 desk 45 cm deep 1 cabinet with sliding doors H: 50 W: 80 D: 45 cm 1 shallow cabinet with sliding doors H: 51 W: 80 D: 20 cm 4 wooden rails 200 cm long brass hardware. Great vintage condition with clean interiors and minor traces of use, all parts with new coats of Danish oil. We can offer more Danish wall units, especially by Poul Cadovius, Kai Kristiansen and Preben Sorensen, and we can enlarge the presented one upon request.

About the designer

Henning SORENSEN

Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
