About this vintage design furniture

This armchair model GFM-64 was designed in the 1960s by Polish designer Edmund Homa and manufactured by Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli. The armchairs of this model were intended mainly for export to Western countries and were luxurious furniture in communist Poland. The frame of the armchair is made of solid beech wood and has been professionally and carefully restored consisting in removing old coatings, staining in brown and finishing with varnish. The seat and backrest are upholstered with a new graphite upholstery. The upholstery sponge was also replaced. This model of armchair is also available in other colors of upholstery and wood. The customer can choose any color of upholstery and wood.

About the designer

Edmund HOMA

Edmund Homa is a Polish designer, born in 1973 in Wrocław, Poland. He graduated from the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts in 1998, where he studied painting and printmaking. He subsequently worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for various advertising agencies.
