About this vintage design furniture

Vintage high sideboard from the series “made to measure” designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe, 1955. The “custom furniture” series is characterized by the simplicity of detailing and assembly. This stately cabinet consists of a storage area with extendable shelves and a small secretary area with pen tray and envelope standard. The teak veneer cabinet with white Formica finishing accent stands on aluminum feet which are adjustable in height. The cabinet is marked and from the first owner. Fair to good vintage condition. The cupboard has some minor signs of use. The inside of the lid has repaired damage along the edge (see photos). The left hinge of the white flap door is a bit loose (see photo). The result is that the valve sags a few millimeters on this side. No immediate problem for use.
