About this vintage design furniture
A rectangular dining table designed by Arne Jacobsen, manufactured for Fritz Hansen in Denmark, circa 1950. This eye-catching table is made of high quality rosewood in a nice warm brown colour. It stands on grey metal legs with rosewooden feet as a lovely touch. This table has only been produced for a short period. It’s fine eye for detail, beautiful finish and quality materials all combine to create a fantastic addition to the decor Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) was one of Denmark’s most influential 20th century architects and designers. Both his buildings and products, like his Swan and Egg chairs, combine modernist ideals with a Nordic love of naturalism. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
