About this vintage design furniture
This library cabinet was designed by Johannes Sorth in Denmark in the 1960s and manufactured by Nexø Møbelfabrik. The shelves are both height adjustable and removable. Underneath the shelves are convenient storage compartments with three large drawers. The condition is good for its age. The bookcase shows minimal overall age-related wear. About the designer
Johannes SORTH
Johannes Sorth was a renowned Danish designer who was born in 1937 and died in 2017. He is best known for his work in industrial design, particularly for his elegant modern furniture designs. Sorth studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 1963.
