Vintage Danish Teak Armchairs by Svend Aage Eriksen for Glostrup Møbelfabrik 1960’s Set of 8. Beautiful Danish mid-century design. Model GM 11 in solid teak and original black leather upholstery. Round tapered legs and sculpted armrests. Wide curved backrest for optimal back support. Very comfortable and solid chair. Perfect as dining room chairs or as conference chairs It is very rare to find a large set as this which has been together for about sixty years, and therefore has the same wonderful patina. Only smaller nicks and dents. Cleaned, oiled and polished. Ready to use.

About the designer
Svend Aage ERIKSEN
Svend Aage Eriksen (1918-2002) was a renowned Danish designer, known for his innovative and functional work in furniture and lighting. Born in Copenhagen, he studied at the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts and worked for various design companies before opening his own studio in 1954.
