About this vintage design furniture

This set of two armchairs was designed in the 1960s by Polish designer Edmund Homa and manufactured by Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli. The frame of the armchairs is made of solid beech wood and has been professionally and carefully restored consisting in removing old coatings, staining in brown and finishing with varnish. The seat and backrest are upholstered with a new graphite upholstery. The upholstery sponge was also replaced.

About the designer

Edmund HOMA

Edmund Homa is a Polish designer, born in 1973 in Wrocław, Poland. He graduated from the Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts in 1998, where he studied painting and printmaking. He subsequently worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for various advertising agencies.
