About this vintage design furniture
Great folding table "Ellipse nr.2" designed by Bendt Winge in the 1950s and produced by Kleppes Møbelfabrikk, Norway. Made of a combination of teak wood on the top and base of sculpted solid beech wood forming an ellipse (hence its name) that gives it robustness while an ergonomic look. Practical and versatile can be used as a dining table, work table, in the kitchen... or folded against the wall. This table has been restored and is in excellent condition.

Bendt WINGE
Bendt Winge was a Danish industrial designer known for his outstanding work in furniture design. Born on February 16, 1916 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Winge studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to become a talented designer.
