Vintage fiberglass waiting bench by Georg Leowald for Wilkhahn, 1960

Two seat bench designed by designer and architect Georg Leowald (1908 -1969) in the 1960s for the German manufacturer Wilkhahn founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening in 1907. A rare model, this waiting bench has two seats in fiberglass. Thermo-molded, these seats are an intense orange color. Each shell rests on a star-shaped element attached to a brushed metal base. An iconic piece of furniture, this undeniably vintage bench with an ergonomic design will find its place in a bold and colorful interior. Period: 1960 Excellent condition. Minimal traces of use.
