A set of six Hans Brattrud high back Scandia senior chairs for Hove Mobler. A classic example of excellent Scandinavian Modern design dating from 1958, this is one of the finest chairs to emerge from post war Norway and indeed Scandinavia. Timeless and simplistic organic forms echo the shape of the body, resulting in a comfortable chair. These chairs have been restored, repolished and reupholstered by our team of skilled craftsmen and women.

About the designer
Hans BRATTRUD
Hans Brattrud (1933-1987) was a Norwegian industrial designer best known for his iconic "Scandia" chair. He was born in Kristiansund, Norway, and studied at the National School of Arts and Crafts in Oslo (now the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs).
