Danish Modern Highback Easy Chair by Arne Hovmand-Olsen 1956 for Alf. Juul Rasmussen Polstermøbelfabrik, Denmark. Vintage Danish Mid-Century Modern Model 480 high back easy chair in teak and oak in Papa Bear style. Original two-tone green wool upholstery. Legs and frame in solid oak, armrests in solid teak. Beautifully curved backrest on this lounge chair. Stunning design and impressive craftsmanship. Very comfortable and stylish. Very rare model only shown in one fair in 1956 where it achieved most votes for People’s Choice. Amazing original condition with very few signs of use.
