Pair of vintage stained beechwood armchairs by Madsen and Schubell, Denmark 1950
About this vintage design furniture
This stunning pair of mid-century lounge chairs by Madsen and Schubell were designed in the 1950s in Denmark. The chairs are made of stained beech wood and feature an exceptional design where the floating back and seat are encircled and suspended in a round wooden frame that continues seamlessly through contoured armrests and ends in tapered legs. Seat height 43 cm. Both chairs are in very good vintage condition, the chairs were upholstered less than 5 years ago and they have not been used much, so a good cleaning would make them like new. Coming from a non-smoking home where they took good care of their furniture. High quality fabric. We also have a matching high back chair and sofa from the same house if you want to make an impressive addition to your home. Please ask for pictures if you would like to see them.
