Pair of vintage rosewood and leather armchairs by Torbjørn Afdal for Nesjestranda Møbelfabrikk, 1960

Pair of rosewood lounge chairs attributed to Torbjørn Afdal for Nesjestranda Mobelfabrik, 1960s. Sculptural solid rosewood frame, beautifully distressed camel brown leather seat and arms. The seat cushion is a unique piece, detachable from the corseted support. A very unique pair, rarely seen and extremely comfortable. The chairs are in excellent condition and the wood shows minimal wear from age and use. The leather is also in very good condition with no tears.
