About this vintage design furniture

An eye-catching set of 6 dining chairs designed by Giandomenico Belotti, manufactured by Alias in Italy around 1970. These iconic chairs, model “Spaghetti Gemini” are made of black lacquered metal. The tubular frame holds a seat and back with thin, black rubber straps which structure resembles that of spaghetti, which is how the chairs got their name This not only provides a unique style, it also gives them an impressive seating comfort as the material bends in the shape of the seated person The original manufacturer’s label is attached to the frames, as shown in the photos The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
