About this vintage design furniture
Rare and beautiful reed floor lamp with 3 arms. The cast iron base, black painted metal uprights, brass for the finishes and the red arrow, typical of the Lunel house in the 1950s. Attributed to René Mathieu.Certainly the most elegant model of the Lunel series and the rarest.Well complete with these three quality and original opalines and its red arrow in plexiglass. Each post has its own switch.in very good condition.original electricity controlled, in working condition, bayonet bulbs.Dimensions: W: 42 cm, H: 164 cm, D: 42 cm. About the designer
René MATHIEU
René Mathieu was a French designer born in Nancy in 1905 and died in 1969. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nancy before moving to Paris to work as a theater decorator. He also worked for Galeries Lafayette, where he was responsible for creating window displays and exhibition stands.
