About this vintage design furniture
Rare Danish "Minerva" small sofa by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, designed for the predecessor of France & Søn, France & Daverkosen. This sofa is from the early 1960s and is in 100 in original condition, featuring the original moss green upholstery. The frame is made from teakwood. The backrest is held by chromed steel bars. In the cushion are metal springs, not foam. Seat height: 42 cm

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
