About this vintage design furniture

The secretary was made in the 1960s, designed by Danish design icon Erling Torvits.The frame is covered in rosewood veneer. The legs and handles are made of solid wood. The surface has been refreshed. The secretary is one of the most versatile pieces of furniture that have been designed in the history of Danish design. It can be used as a chest of drawers, which makes it ideal as a filing cabinet or toy cabinet in a child's room or as a linen cabinet in a bedroom. The flip-up top allows you to use the secretary as a desk. In addition, its timeless design will add character to any interior in which it is used. An added benefit is the unique drawer locking system. Key included.Condition: The surface of the secretary has been refreshed. Minor scratches and marks are visible. More significant signs of use are still shown in the photos. The product is prepared directly for use. For safety reasons, the furniture may have unscrewed legs for transport. Erling TORVITS

Erling Torvits was a Danish industrial designer born in 1931 and died in 1989. He studied sculpture and ceramics at the Copenhagen School of Fine Arts, before turning to industrial design.
