About this vintage design furniture

A nice sleeping sofa designed by Martin Visser, manufactured by ‘t Spectrum around 1960. This beautiful piece is made of high quality grey metal and has a new, high quality grey fabric upholstery. The seating depth can easily be extended by raising and pulling out the seat, after which it can be used as a sleeping bed. This is an innovative piece and a true icon of Dutch mid-century design The slightly tilted backrest and separate armrest cushion (narrow version) add to the comfortable seating experience for this very modern, timeless piece. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
