About this vintage design furniture
On sale this magnificent GM5 teak armchair, created in 1963 by the Danish designer Svend Age Eriksen (and not Grete Jalk as it is often wrongly read), and distributed by the famous publisher Glostrup Møbelfabrik. About the designer
Svend Aage ERIKSEN
Svend Aage Eriksen (1918-2002) was a renowned Danish designer, known for his innovative and functional work in furniture and lighting. Born in Copenhagen, he studied at the city's Royal Academy of Fine Arts and worked for various design companies before opening his own studio in 1954.
