About this vintage design furniture
Dutch tea cart (model 546) designed by Willem Lutjens for Gouda den Boer in 1953. The beech plywood and glass top are in excellent condition. Completely original, it has retained a beautiful patina. A unique find.

About the designer
Willem LUTJENS
Willem Lutjens was a Dutch designer, born on January 24, 1894 in Amsterdam and died on January 9, 1959 in Wassenaar. He studied architecture at Delft Polytechnic before turning to design. He worked for several design companies, including Metz & Co, where he created fabrics and wallpapers.
