About this vintage design furniture
Rare transparent lamp designed by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar for the Dutch ABN bank in 1975. The lamp features a perspex base and a translucent shade. All lights were manufactured by the designer’s company itself and made in limited numbers. In perfect condition with only the smallest signs of wear.

About the designer
Aldo VAN DEN NIEUWELAAR
Wim Van den Nieuwelaar was a Dutch designer, born on February 28, 1936 in Haarlem and died on February 23, 2019. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and began his design career in the 1960s.
