About this vintage design furniture
Superb pair of club armchairs in storm blue velvet dating from the 1940s, attributed to Jules Leleu. They have been entirely restored and reupholstered. Very fine and original lines, and superb quality of manufacture. Really beautiful armchairs, in the pure art deco club spirit.

About the designer
Jules LELEU
Jules Leleu (1883-1961) was a French interior designer and decorator famous for his Art Deco style. Born in Boulogne-sur-Mer, he began his career working in his father's decorating business before setting up his own firm in 1919.
