Home Furniture Seating Lounge Chairs Description Iconic mid-century design lounge chair by Miroslav Navratil, produced by Cesky Nabytek in Czechoslovakia in 1959. The model was designed for Trienalle in Milano where the Czechoslovakian designers scored gold awards. The seat of the chair is made of a laminate in blue color. The seat is finished with an original fabric in gray color and a small cushion to support the back. The chair is unique in design which stands on a elegant wooden construction. The chair is in an original condition, wood is lacquered in blond oak and is in a very good condition. The fabric is original and shows some wear on one of the from corner, one button in the back is missing. The chair is still is a very good vintage condition and is ready to be used and shine. One of the triumphs the the designer’s work. It never comes out of fashion and looks wonderful in any interior. Seat hight 34cm.

About the designer
Miroslav NAVRATIL
Miroslav Navratil is a Czech industrial designer born in 1952 in Prague. He graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in 1978, where he studied product design.
