About this vintage design furniture
An interesting model of three mid century bentwood dining chairs designed by Radomír Hofman for TON Bystřice pod Hostýnem (Thonet successor in Czechoslovakia after World War 2) . They were made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960´s. The chairs are made of bent plywood, have beech wood structure and are upholstered with fabric. An interesting example of Czechoslovak design after the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at Expo 58 in Brussels. The chairs are overall in good Vintage condition, shows signs of age and using, the upholstery have a few flaws in the fabric. Price is for the set of 4.
