About this vintage design furniture

Interesting vintage bentwood dining chairs designed by Radomír Hofman for TON Bystřice pod Hostýnem (Thonet's successor in Czechoslovakia after World War II) . They were manufactured in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. The chairs are made of bent plywood and beech wood with upholstered seats. An interesting example of Czechoslovak design after the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at Expo 58 in Brussels. The chairs are in good vintage condition, they have slight signs of age and use. Price is for the pair.Height: 80 cmWidth: 43 cDepth: 45 cmSeat height: 46 cm
