Vintage brooch with pair of crackle enamel earrings by Ole Bjorn Kruger, Denmark
About this vintage design furniture
Rare set, off-white and gray taupe round brooch, slightly domed 3.8 cm diam. and 3 mm thick, and b.o. curved rectangles on two purple sides (1.9cm L x 1.6 cm W and 3 mm thick. Semi-transparent crackled enamel on a porcelain stoneware base. The brooch is not signed and the b.o. is engraved "DENMARK". The set comes from his studio background. Ole Bjorn Kruger was a sculptor and ceramist born in Denmark in 1927. His jewelry series was quite successful at the time.

Rolf Krüger was a German designer who was born in 1927 and died in 1991. He studied at the Stuttgart Academy of Fine Arts and began his career in the 1950s working for various design agencies in Stuttgart, Munich and Berlin.
