About this vintage design furniture
Amazing, brass and Murano glass pendant lamp from the 1950s reminds Gio Ponti lamps from the same period. Exceptionally elegant sphere made of hand-blown fluted Murano glass with a brass clamp in the middle is suspended on brass structure and chain giving the impression of a light ladies’ jewelry. An amazing piece of endless elegant lighting, will fit perfectly to any mid century living room, or an entrance hall. The sphere with a diameter of 30 cm is suspended on a brass 100 cm long chain, topped with a spherical brass cover. All parts are original in very good condition. The lamp requires three E27 bulb.

Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
