About this vintage design furniture

The story of Alias was inaugurated in 1979 with the “spaghetti chair” by Giandomenico Belotti, the iconic chair, the first of Alias creations to enter the collection of the MoMA in New York. Born from the evolution of the spaghetti concept, these ‘paludis’ chairs combine the minimal metal structure, painted or chromed, with the particular material chosen for the weaving of the seat and back: a special papercord of woven recycled paper, in beautiful blond color on a alu grey lacquered frame. Set of six chairs in good condition consistent with age and use.
