A lovely 1960s mid century Herbert E Gibbs display cabinet or bookshelf - with adjustable shelves. The glass fronted area is large, offering three spacious shelves, over a smaller cupboard with wooden sliding doors. About the designer
John HERBERT
John Herbert was a British industrial designer, born in 1929 and died in 2007. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London in the 1950s and began his career working for the English furniture manufacturer Ercol.
