About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful lounge chair by Martin Stoll and manufactured by Giroflex in Germany around 1960 It can’t go unnoticed that the style of this chair reminds of the famous lounge chair by Charles & Ray Eames, however it has unique details and a different approach to the design that make it it’s own, unique piece The bright metal crossbase holds a wooden shell with swivel mechanism. The seat and back are connected by metal bars in the back. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in black leather and slightly tufted. The same upholstery is used for the armrests, folding over the edge and connected to the base with beautiful detail. A most comfortable piece that will definitely draw the attention in the decor It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
